Asia

Asia

Asia is the largest continent on earth and the most diverse by every measure that matters: geography, culture, cuisine, language, religion, climate. It stretches from the frozen tundra of Siberia to the tropical islands of Indonesia, from the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula to the megacities of East Asia. Over 4.5 billion people live here. That's more than half the planet.

For us, Asia offers an almost absurd range of experiences. Ancient temples in Southeast Asia. Neon-lit cities in Japan and South Korea. The Himalayas. Street food that costs less than a euro and tastes better than most restaurant meals at home. High-speed trains in China, tuk-tuks in Thailand, motorbikes in Vietnam, boats in Laos. Every country is its own world, with its own rules, rhythms, and rewards.

It's also where your money goes furthest. Southeast Asia in particular is one of the most affordable travel regions on the planet, offering quality food, comfortable accommodation, and extraordinary landscapes at prices that feel like a rounding error by North American or European standards. East Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan) is pricier but still offers excellent value compared to Western Europe.
