Top Things to Do and See in Romantic Road
The Romantic Road is a string of towns, not a single destination. The best "things to do" are the towns themselves, walked properly: Rothenburg, Nordlingen and Dinkelsbuhl are the heavyweights, Weikersheim and Bad Mergentheim add a Schloss day each, and Creglingen is worth a short detour just for the Riemenschneider altar. Build the trip around the three big towns, add the rest if you've got days to spare.
